Screws into the fascia and top lip of the gutter, does not slide under the shingles. Strengthens the gutter and deflects snow and ice from sliding into the gutter, a great asset for metal roofs. Rated for 14 gallons per hour. May require the tops to be brushed off occasionally for aesthetic purposes.
